Gentle Care for Your Little One
Infant Massage
As a massage therapist, I have seen firsthand the incredible benefits of infant massage, a practice with ancient roots that has been an integral part of traditional baby care in various cultures around the world. In India and Africa, parents have been passing down the art of massage to their children for centuries, helping them grow healthy and happy. In recent decades, this practice has gained popularity in other countries due to its numerous benefits for infants.
What is Infant Massage?
Infant massage is a gentle and relaxing massage specifically designed for the littlest ones. It includes soft touches and light strokes that help your baby feel comfortable and calm. Massage also stimulates your baby’s natural reflexes, which contributes to their development and strengthening.
I use infant massage because it:
- Improves circulation and digestion
- Relieves muscle tension and colic
- Promotes healthy and restful sleep
- Strengthens the bond between you and your baby
- Stimulates the development of the nervous system
Who is it For?
Infant massage is perfect for babies from birth to one year old. It is especially beneficial for infants with colic, digestive issues, or those who are often fussy.- Supports physical development and flexibility
- Helps reduce gas and colic
- Strengthens the immune system
- Enhances your baby’s emotional well-being
- Deepens the love and trust between you and your child
- Stimulates and develops natural reflexes necessary for normal growth and development

What Patients Say
I am a mom of three, and my journey with Nadia started in 2017 when my 3 months old daughter had a very asymmetrical skull and was noticeably turning her head only one side. It turned out that this condition- torticollis – was a result of her birth trauma and, if left untreated, it could lead to the more serious long term effects like gross motor difficulties and vision problems to name few.
With Nadia’s help we were able to fix my daughter’s skull and face asymmetry but most importantly the functional issues like body muscles tension and even breastfeeding improved drastically.
Since then I had two more kids and with all of them I was seeking RMT’s assessment at early age. My youngest son had his first visit with Nadia at 6 weeks of age due to constantly crying his lungs out every night between 8 and 11 pm. Not only the screaming was hitting very hard mentally but also realizing that something was bothering him with no other obvious signs like hunger, tiredness or digestion issues. With Nadia’s massage techniques she was able to treat my son’s cranial pressure issues and the nightly “screaming routine” was gone. My son became much more relaxed and is now able to fall asleep on his own. With my middle daughter, I brought her to massage therapy at 8 months of age and I just wish I did it earlier since it’s harder to work with babies when they become mobile.
To sum it up, I hope my experience helps someone else to not hesitate to bring your babies to RMT for an early assessment but please make sure you find a professional who has enough experience with children like Nadia does. I must say that early intervention will not only help with the aesthetic side of the issues but most importantly with the long-term overall body function.
